Useful Links:

  • Advance Status: A student who has completed all course work and thesis/dissertation unit requirements, has advanced to candidacy, is working on the thesis/dissertation, and is not employed as a Graduate Assistant/ Associate or student worker may apply for Advanced Status, which allows 1 unit of 900-level credit for full-time status.

  • Incomplete Grade: The grade of Incomplete (I ) may be awarded only at the end of a term when all but a minor portion of the course work has been satisfactorily completed and the student is unable to finish due to extenuating circumstances. Grade will be submitted by Professor.

Students can use this document to assist in planning out courses to satisfy requirements and filling out the GradPath form.

THESIS DEFENSE RUBRIC

This form will be the rubric  used by committee members to evaluate master students who have chosen to submit a Thesis Paper to complete the program. 

ORAL EXAMINATION RUBRIC

This form will be the rubric  used by the committee members to evaluate master students who have chosen to participate in an Oral Examination of three (3) graduate level papers written in MAS courses to complete the program.

DECLARING OF QUALIFYING COMMITTEE

This form is to be use to submit to the department the list of proposed faculty members that will evaluate the student during the Qualifying Exam.

 

RUBRIC FOR QUALIFYING EXAM

This form will be the rubric  used by the committee members to evaluate students for the Qualifying Exam. 

INSTRUCTION FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE EXAM

Students can find information regarding preparing for the exam as well as what to expect for the exam.

RUBRIC FOR WRITTEN PORTION OF COMPREHENSIVE EXAM

This form will be the rubric  used by the committee members to evaluate students for the written portion of the Comprehensive Exam. 

BALLOT FOR WRITTEN PORTION OF COMPREHENSIVE EXAM

This form will be the ballot  used by the committee members to submit the outcome of the written portion of the Comprehensive Exam.

RUBRIC FOR ORAL PORTION OF COMPREHENSIVE EXAM
